Today is the last day of 2008, and...i am home! Hmmm, to think of it, next year this time, i will be in scotland already. Oh wait, mayb i'll be in germany..or some other country counting down..*giggles*
For the final blog of this year, i shall blog on the new things i learnt, new places i went, basically everything new that i never did/had in 2007.
1) I learnt how to swim! *like FINALLY right* But only breaststoke.=P
2) I learnt how to photoshop. Though still not good at it..but as malaysians always say 'Boleh-lah...'
3) I started my new hobby of running up the staircase of the condo i currently stay at.*hmm, but it's been at halt since the new sem..sighs*
4) I learnt how to knit. Knitted for kenneth, mummy and daddy.
5) I renewed my driving license ystd. Which expired in february!*wtf??*
6) I went to germany and paris. It was the best month of the year!
7) I went to Pangkor Laut Resort. And felt like a princess!!
8) My 2008 photo collection amounted to more than 12gb and next year will definitely be even more. Thank goodness i got a harddisk.
9) And well, as mentioned above, i got a new 320gb harddisk, an 8gb USB flash drive.(plus some other things la..)
10)Errrmmm......i grew taller? Cuz both poh yee and i claim that we are 160cm but i am taller than her. So either she isn't 160, or i am more than that!muahaha...hope she doesn't read this=P
Hmm, that's all i can think of for the moment..not planning to strain my brain too much on the last day of the year..hehe..
Another recent highlight is that i received two gifts ystd.=) Technically speaking i have not received one of it yet cuz it's still with Kelly. Yeap, so one is from Kenneth=) And another from my sis. They are both totally different things..but have one thing in common.
THEY ARE VERY THE EXPENSIVE ahhhhh!
I shall not reveal the price. But the one i got from Kenneth is a musical box with the song 'Edelweiss' playing..which coincidentally i just heard that song from an orchestra i went last week.=)
The second is a necklace + earrings set. The postage itself costed 18 dollars (approx. rm45) And the set was even more expensive.*i feel so bad*
Anyway, to end my final blog of this year, presenting.....my south park character for our convo mag.=D
Chin yeong said the character looks like me. But she didn't notice my 'new' adidas germany soccer jersey=(
Anyhow, me cute not?=P

It's gonna be bitchy...ooppsss...beachy i mean..
For the very first time, im going to stay at Teluk Batik Resort. It's situated about 15 mins from my house, which is probably why i never bothered even having the thought of staying there.
But well, my aunt from s'pore decided to go stay there and has already booked the place for i duno how many nights.
So, tomoro we gonna check in at 2pm. I wonder how it would be like...i mean staying at a resort when my home is like 15 mins away? And 'play' at the beach with my parents, uncle and aunties...the only person near to my age is my cousin, who's ELEVEN!
Anyway, i googled some photos of the resort. Here they are:
It looks not bad huh? But to be honest i doubt it! Like how can teluk batik have such nice resorts right?? It's teluk batik for goodness sake!=P

Trip to sydney and NZ
How i wish i could join this trip but no, it wasn't me who went for this trip, but my sis who's already in sydney, and also my parents. Heavy-heartedly, the day my parents left for sydney was the first day of my uni! How 'cool' was that right.-_-"
Anyway, just felt like posting some of the beberapa gb punya photos here.=) They spent about a week in NZ and more than a week in sydney.
Pelican watching somewhere in sydney=P They look bit fake right?
Prove that they aren't fake. And sungguh the ganas.
Family meeting with my relatives..
Not going to post more bout sydney, cuz i find some of the NZ photos really breath-taking! I mean, if only we could live in a city yet preserve the surroundings like those in NZ. I would kill for that.=P
First up, Moeraki Boulders on Ortago. Notice the intriguing rock formations. All spherical.
The above two photos were taken in the car. The first being a waterfall right beside the road (is that even possible??), and the latter being the view of the drivers and passengers. Really eye-soothing eh.
Fox Glacier in Westland National Park.
Apparently, this was one of the filming sites for the phenomenal Lord of The Rings.
Some other panoramic views of NZ.
Reflection. Yes, it was that clear.
One of the four aunties from France who went on the trip as well. My dad said they were all in their seventies, reaching 80. Hip and happening, and travelling all over the world. They certainly do not look their age!
Mummy and sis. She's wearing the scarf i bought for her from germany=D The scarf sudah travel sangat jauh ye.
And finally, a pic of daddy, mummy and jie jie.=)
Thanks for the souvenirs and the exceptionally lot of food.=D

Chin ho tia
My sis, bro-in-law and i were thinking bout my sis's baby's name. My sis is in her 28th week by the way.=) However, we didn't come up with any names that the baby responded to, i.e. she didn't poke my sis's tummy. She does u know!
After coming back to vista, i told chin yeong what i did earlier. And since chin yeong and i had nothing to do, we decided to help wen yi and shen yang think of their future children's name. His surname is 'chin' btw.. Since 'chin' means 'really' in hokkien, we had fun creating names..
WARNING: Strictly for those who understand hokkien only.
We came up with this list:
If she's a baby girl,
Chin jia sui
Chin jia san
Chin ho mia
Chin ho kua
Chin gao zhi
Chin gao sueh
Chin gao xi
Chin hao xi
Chin zuey wei
Chin ai sui
For baby boy,
Chin kut lat
Chin boh song
Chin jia song
Chin jia ho
Chin jia eng
Chin jia guai
Chin wu lat
Chin wu eng
Chin wu lui
Chin gao pia
Fuh yo! Try reading it in the fastest pace possible and u'll have fun too! And please do wen yi a favour by telling her the name you will vote for.=)

Devi's b'day celebration @ Spaghetti Grill
On tuesday, a bunch of us went to midvalley to celebrate devi's birthday. The venue changed from PJ to chili's in midvalley and when we reached, the waitress told us that they were unable to arrange table for 18. And thus, recommended us to Spaghetti Grill aka Chili's sister. Thinking it would be good as well, we agreed.
It's located in the same stretch as Chili's.
Much to our disappointment, the food there was...HORRIBLE!!! Shall explain based on pictures.=)
Poh yee's soup and salad. The soup is very thick. In fact, TOOOOO thick. Cant imagine? Well, imagine taking a scoop of it, and pouring it on a flat surface. It will not flow slowly down like usual thick soup, but it wil go 'piak'..
Rating:3/10
We ordered hawaiian pizza and garlic sth pizza (forgot the name d). They were the only better ones that we had. It was nothing special (u can get similar tasting pizza in many restaurants), but i guess the fact that the other food was so sucky that we really appreciate these pizzas!
Rating:7/10
Wen yi's grilled chicken pasta. For one, the grilled chicked is dry, and doesn't taste much. The spaghetti has very limited sauce, hence very dry as well.
Rating:5/10
Raj's fish and chips. The chips suungguh the little, and doesn't taste good. The fish is still all right but i hated the sauce. It's not the usual tartar sauce. Dunno what they added in.
Rating:5/10
Chin yeong and i shared lasagna and stuffed mushroom. Considering it was rm23.95, we sort of expected a TGIF size lasagna. But...it was pathetically small. I think the angle i took made it look bigger. Do not be deceived! Now, the taste. It was the worst lasagna i've ever tried. Seriously. I am a fan of lasagna and this was a huge let down. Even the lasagna i had in germany (the ones we bought from rewe supermarket and then bake it in an oven) taste better.
And Kenneth, you rmbr once we overbaked the lasagna? It tasted kinda yucky rmbr? This is worse. Cuz at least the one we overbaked had nice cheese on top.
So my rating:1/10 (i gave up eating halfway)
This stuffed mushroom cost rm17.95..and it taste bad. The mushroom is of those chinese mushroom, but they made it soft and not chewy. The menu stated 'stuffed with meat' But i could hardly taste any meat. Just some macam flavoured oat kinda feeling.
Rating:1/10
Giri's lamb shank. I didn't try it so no comment.
And apparently, the ravioli that chew ning ordered was also bad. I wonder how was the food that the rest ordered.
Anyway, shall end my blog with a group photo.*all smiles*
