Anyway, not going to promote much bout the food there cuz...well, i find the food ok ok nia. The fact that i can only order unagi once is definitely a minus point. At least for me. But i guess it's still worth it since it's 50% off now.=P

Wen yi's birthday @ bbq

On tues, we had a surprise birthday celebration for wen yi aka mummy^^
Surprise cuz we did it a week earlier, hence it was unexpected according to her.

It was great fun, and I am proud of me n my housemates for finally making this bbq thingie a reality!! We started the idea since sem 2 i think. Beginning of every sem, we would 'dengan penuh semangat' say will have a bbq. But...ya, finally it's done.=D

Yeaps, we all went to her birthday party at her house at tropicana last night. I think there were ard a hundred ppl invited inclusive of imu people. Anyways, kind mafia@yik siang came to fetch us from vista and 11 of us fit into the alphard. Amazing? You will be even more amazed to know that on the way back to vista, there were 13 of us in the car..=P

Anyway, right after entering the car, we already started cam-whoring. But we just took ONE photo ok.. Which is this-->

Once we reached tropicana, we were already all 'ooo-ahhh'ing admiring the houses there, not mentioning the cars there. There's one house i find especially cute. It looks like sth u can eat, n it is so huge it couldn't fit in one shot.(taken from inside the car)

Read from malaysiakini bout ranking of universities. N it was said that malaysian universities are losing out to Thailand, Indosnesia and Philippines. (and singapore as always)

Anyway, out of curiousity, i went searching for the ranking of University of Strathclyde. Skim through 1-100, not there. Went through 101-200, not there either. 201-300...ahh...finally found it. Their current ranking is at 270, and No. 37 in the UK. Hmmm.....

Sometimes i find it funny but sometimes i find it really annoying.

N the worst part is i have to explain the same thing OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!

I explained to him FOUR TIMES in four consecutive days that when they ask for equation, means they want it in the form 'y=mx+c'. Also explained what is y, m, x and c.
Yet today when the question ask for an equation, he ask me how to do. And when i asked him what is equation. He said 'means just find y ar?'
ARGHHHH!!!

Why is there such a human being in this world?? Previously, i didn't particularly liked teaching a std 2 student maths cuz i didn't know how to explain why is 3x9=27 things like that. But i didn't feel frustrated at all when she didn't understand cuz she was in std 2.

But now?? FORM 5!! SPM MATHS IN 3 DAYS!!

hi renly! I got the mail from aad, however, sum people did not and it seems that sum1(whom i shall not name) did not get the call even tho he/she failed. so its best if you could gif IMU a call 2mr and check it up, tho i doubt u'll haf to be worried much =)

I ASSUME I passed

Today is the supposed D-day for all my coursemates. Results were out at 4pm, but yea, i forgot bout it, AGAIN. Only to remember around 5sth when i went online and frens's pm were mostly 'i passed!'

I hastily checked my e-mail. NOTHING.

Then i went to ictservices website, could log in the netstorage that we use to download lecture slides, but couldn't enter netmail to check results although i used the same password. WHY??

I tried many many many times, using current n other passwords i thought i might have forgotten, but to no avail.

I then tried the imu website and tried to log in like a trillion times under 'Exam Results'. All i got was
'INVALID LOGIN DETECTED'

Some frens suggested clicking the 'forgot password' button. Did so. Had to key in my email. Tried all four e-mails that i have.
'INVALID REQUEST FOR PASSWORD DETECTED'

Chin yeong told me the email needed is some email they gave us in sem 1.
wtf!! I don't rmbr liao la!
I asked many ppl n many ppl tried helping me...but still...NOTHING..
So yea, i finally gave up, and decided to go for a walk with my parents.

Conclusion: I ASSUME THAT I PASSED cuz imu din call me for resit.

My sitiawan nightmare begins..AGAIN!!

Two years ago, my neighbour asked me to her son maths tuition for pmr. I agreed. N it was the worst tuition experience i ever had. This guy drove me nuts with his maths calculation. I had a real tough time teaching him. But looking back, i already had...seven tuition students, ranging from STD 1 to FORM 6!*proud-ness*

Anyhow, ystd when he and his dad came over, my immediate response seeing them at the gate was...'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!'

His dad was sooooo pushy and assertive i had a tough time trying to say no.

Worse, he said, 'Oh, u give him tuition every day. Morning, noon and night. Many many hours each time. His spm start next week, he needs intensive tuition, cover the whole syllabus for him.'

I was like......it's my hols mister. I need time for myself for goodness sake! And you think i can do magic or sth? (He failed his maths both this n last year, AND previous years, except the actual pmr exam)

But well, i didn't want to be rude, and my dad was beside me..so i just FORCEFULLY smiled and said that i have assignments to do, the max i can do is give him tuition once daily.

I CANT STAND THIS GUY!!!
